If me: I don't know. I suspect it would be, but I think Joe Watkins nailed it 
in his
recent email on this thread:

and I don't
   see a vote going in favour of the idea if there were an implementation."

I'm not going to implement it. Will you be implementing it? I suspect not, as 
you said "I don't know C very well".

I think it does look like a nice syntax extension, but I don't think it'll end 
up in PHP.

I only waded in to correct someone who said that structs in C# don't have 
methods :-)
