Just don't ask for a door in the wall if you didn't include it in the original
design ;) And get the check book add to get it added ....
PHP was put together by people who know how to make a building
actually function... regardless of the original design presented.
Nail and head comes to mind ... All of my current production systems have
evolved over time, and the ability to simply add 'pages' or modify them as we go
without having to 'validate' everything is perfect! The customer has no idea
WHAT they want until they can play with something and PHP is simply ideal for
that. My only complaint is that most of the 'new features' added with PHP5.3 add
nothing to making PHP any better! In my opinion.
This bloody latest C++ stuff from embarcadero is an utter nightmare ... I'm
beginning to think I'd be better off spending the time moving the hardware
interfaces to PHP! Or perhaps even replacing all the windows machines with Linux :)
I do think it is about time there was a USER poll on what the majority of people
think is important going forward and what can be left to private ports of the
the code where the main body simply don't need or want them? At least we CAN
compile our own versions of PHP.
