Stas, in the past we had alphas. Is there any reason why we wouldn't roll one out asap? (revert the typehints stuff and go).
OK, I can do the stuff (typehints, branch, tag) on the weekend. I don't know how to roll the packages & do the mails though, so if somebody could volunteer there it'd be great :)
Some of the proposed changes though are not BC-safe, so we should warn people that this alpha is not the fixed API yet.
