It was and is public. For heaven's sake, APIs are in the manual! Not
counting the announcements on all the list - and absolutely ZERo
interest from Marcus or Pierre in the topic then, and I remember no
complaint from Hannes on the names either.
Just as it becomes usual mode of operation here, certain people ignored
it all along and then woke up and acted all surprised. There was no
secret and *EVERYTHING* was announced.
