You miss the unstated implication that PDO V2 will offer par or better
performance, and potentially more functionality.
No I reiterate that PDO is fundamentally wrong and that is the reason that it
has not had the sort of take up FORCING it upon us is intended to solve. Now
expanding that by forcing additional licensing conditions just makes it doubly
wrong. Going back to the drawing board and producing something based on
agreement rather than dictation would make a lot more sense especially when
one looks at what we need to actually DO with an abstract database layer?
