For me, the confusion arose from the fact that the wording of the message (i.e. use of the word "you") made it look like it was directed at me, the reader. Maybe we could send out a seperate message to the list instead of just CC'ing the one sent to the person being banned? I.e. something along the lines of, "I have banned [person] from the list for [time] due to [reasons]." A copy of the message sent to the user should definitely be included for transparency, for sure, just not by itself imo. --Kris
