Without offering an opinion on whether or not we should change it, I do think it makes sense that if we do change it, we at least wait until a more standard term has been decided among other developers and projects. It would also provide another justification for the change, if the change was being made to align with industry standards. I also want to point out my agreement with others that have posted about the current climate not being conducive to an honest conversation on this topic. The current climate in the US is such that often it's not enough to agree on what the end goal should be. If someone doesn't agree with how we reach that goal and why we should reach it, they are treated as if they are against achieving the goal altogether. This topic is very susceptible to those kinds of reactions. > -- > Lester Caine - G8HFL > ----------------------------- > Contact - https://lsces.uk/wiki/Contact > L.S.Caine Electronic Services - https://lsces.uk > Model Engineers Digital Workshop - https://medw.uk > Rainbow Digital Media - https://rainbowdigitalmedia.uk > > -- > PHP Internals - PHP Runtime Development Mailing List > To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php > > -- Chase Peeler chasepee...@gmail.com
