Whatever you want to support. Basically, the thing with the proxy object interface is that there's really no big secret as to how it works. It's just very simple, a tiny framework that allows you to create proxy objects. What these proxy objects do exactly is entirely up to the author of the particular class.


Now, I have to admit that I haven't written any proxy objects myself, so my knowledge there is not any deeper than yours, maybe even the other way around. But that's what I understood last time I spoke with Stas about this (he's currently silent because he's abroad on vacation...)
