Can you narrow down what's taking the additional time? It may/may not
be helpful, but with OSUNIX I tore the whole build process down and can
select any package and have the dependencies automatically resolved.
This allows building exactly what's needed out of onnv-gate. I've been
too busy to continue improving the system lately, but I did leave it in
a state where anyone who can read basic scripts could pick it up. If
