Can someone comment on this bug with respect to the 2010.03 release? I believe that this represents a serious issue that would severely affect people wanting to build storage servers using all of the cool new technology in OpenSolaris.

Date: Thu, 04 Mar 2010 09:17:28 -0600 After my recent post "zpool UNAVAIL with mpt timeouts logged", I have continued to dig into google... and apparently we are hitting 6894775. This was last updated 30-November-2009: http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6894775 Can someone please comment on the status/progress on this bug? There is already a very limited set of SAS controller cards that work well with Opensolaris, and having the LSI-based cards non-functional is killing the ability to deploy storage configurations. On a side note, has anyone found an equivalent 8xSAS internal card to use with recent Opensolaris releases? -- paul _______________________________________________ indiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/indiana-discuss
