Again, I want to thank you for this link. It was very helpful. Sendmail
is working now the way it should. Mail from local machines is relayed
and the .cf file is rebuild on every reboot. A very welcome technical
tip. Does this also work on solaris 10 BTW?

The resolver issue is resolved. Sendmail now knows it's FQDN on startup.
I added anduin.nagual.nl to the /etc/hosts file. That did the trick.
