No - just enable virtual consoles and hit Ctrl-Alt-F1, or login
to gnome and run 'svcadm disable gdm'.
Yes, this works now very well and could be used.
BTW: I still have the issue with my Toshiba M9 (b126) that after
suspend/resume with a running Xorg the ASII-screen is dark after
killing the xserver/shutdown the server/starting the virtual console.
It's not a big issue as long as you work with the Gnome-Desktop. This
issue exists for a long time now and from the release notes of nvidia
has been several times adressed as "has been fixed". But I still see
this issue. Anyone else too or is it me only ?
