Yes, its fixed in 122.
But for now, since you already went ahead and did the destroy
of the older BE, you have to manually clean up the menu.lst
entry for the older BE (if you haven't already)

What build were you running when you did the delete of the old BE?
There is a known bug in 121 (defect 10807), where deleting a BE doesn't
fully complete...
