You will lose the bet. I personally know not less than 30 people (in Sun) that use (not only for presos) Solaris on their notebooks (installed bare metal)... and I can assure you that many more use Solaris on desktop. And the nearest engineering group is some thousand km away from here... Only a few of them use ONLY Solaris, that's true...
