Yeah, but libffi is with gcc..

Is it on a todo list to do this under SS12/SSX?

You have patches now for pygobject-2.15.4 or need to make them?  If 
you're working out of a public branch anywhere maybe we can sync 
efforts?  Or feel free to ping me off list
