At the moment it's still in development and won't be in full support 
until 2008.11.  It's also a matter of established binary compatibility 
which is not an immediately critical step we go through when updating 
specific components like it was with Solaris 10.  Some fixes depend on 
broad fixes in various backends, in this case there's probably something 
more than just that interface that had to be fixed or qualified.  
Backports are something that will have more emphasis on contracts where 
users can use pkg.sun.com instead of pkg.opensolaris.org when the 
support lifecycle of the free version doesn't allow for r&d effort.  
Current version of OpenSolaris Indiana is atop B93 which fixes a lot of 
things that you'd probably benefit from anyway.  Sorry.
