[1] I have confirmation from the GNOME maintainer that gnome-dictionary will have the GTK+ print dialog in GNOME 2.24. ghex2 is not part GNOME blessed app, so there is less likely that the its dependency on libgnomeprint will be replaced any time so. However, looking at the UI of ghex2, I suggest SUNWgnome-hex-editor* can be removed from the liveCD even.
