First sorry about the double posting. The slow net here made it appear I had 
not posted. (Webmaster feel free to remove the duplicate post.)

I would definitely lean to nano. It basically is easy to move around in, type, 
cut an paste without any instruction. 

To get users who have never seen a cmd prompt in Windows to use Vim probably 
just to configure their static network is a bit much.

There does seem to be a divide in the OpenSolaris community between those who 
would like wider adoption and those who want to keep it for few people in the 
server room.
