Not sure where you are seeing this link, but it's not something
authored by the Horde Project. Our recommended way of installing
has always been using the official PEAR packages.
Yes, PEAR is dying, if not dead already - we are currently moving to
composer based installation.
It looks like this project is dead.

I updated to the latest and now all my activesync devices have
