I checked out the archive and wasn't able to find anything other than
clearing out cache. I tried that on my iphone and still doesn't work. I do not have a problem through a desktop browser. I also tried the non-mobile
view from my iphone and do not have a problem. So I think it is a
configuration problem with the mobile view. I also tested on iphone 4 and
that failed as well.

Confirmed. This has been fixed in Git already though.

Jan.

I also confirm this, switching to utf-8 did nothing.

You say it is fixed in Git, does this mean we can update imp through PEAR to get these updates? I have tried a moment ago, and it says "nothing to upgrade".

It has been fixed, but not released yet. It will be fixed as of IMP 5.0.14.

Michael (and Jan),

Thanks, but this does not fully solve the prolbem. I have implemented those changes, and it took me one step further. Now I can click/press on my "Inbox" and see the email therein. But, if I click/press on the email to read it, I get the same nasty error. So, it is progress, but not yet a solution... unless I am missing something here.

(I followed the link that michael gave and manually made the changes in my mobile.js and Tree.php)

There's most likely other changes in IMP_Ajax_Application that also affect this behavior then.
