But which nameserver settings do you mean? Do you mean /etc/resolv.conf?
/etc/nsswitch.conf? They seem all correct to me.

I don't have problems with this commands:
nslookup <ip>
nslookup <name>
dig <ip>
dig -t MX <domain>
