Malkiat, I first of all the answer to your query.
The 'issue' file you're editing is dynamically edited during boot time. So
if you want a customized message you edit issue in your rc.local file.
Write the folliwing in your /etc/rc.local
echo "" > /etc/issue.net
echo "your message" >> /etc/issue.net
This should serve your purpose. As for ctrl-D (Exit) option you need to add
the same lines in your /etc/bashrc file.
okay, second. My friend you really need to stop sending HTML messages on to
the list, before someone takes some action against it. You've been doing it
for quite some time now, despite people telling you not to. Please Don't,
