I have a friend who's a heavy user of CAD esp. 3D
aspects and is really interested in having a good
Linux based CAD. He was in Delhi for some time but has
gone back to mumbai. Maybe when he's around again, I
can get him to talk about used requirements. His
feedback was that though you can do everything in
AUTOCAD but it becomes unwieldy for 3D stuff- others
like PRO/E are pretty good. PRO-E is available
commercially for Linux.
