1) I installed GRUB on the first sector of Linux partition. Now
I
     want to use Win 2K boot loader to boot Linux. How do I do it?
(I
     had sent a mail regarding this issue earlier also but I
don't
     think it reached the list, i.e. even I didn't receive my
own
     message.)

You can use either

Gilles Vollant's BootPart utility which can be found at
<http://www.winimage.com/bootpart.htm>

or

XOSL -> Search the web using Google. You can also search for it at
<http://www.download.com>

Also read the <NT OS Loader + Linux mini-HOWTO>

If you have already configued GRUB to dual boot Win2k and GNU/Linux,
why are you interasted in Win 2K boot loader to boot Linux? Do you
think your school can be 'persuaded' to dump Win2K? Do they have a
legal copy?

     2) Is there any Front Page clone for Linux? i.e. a
web-page
     designer which has the ease of use and is as powerful
as
     frontpage.

I think there is Bluefish. Also the netscape composer is quite good
for editing. Finally no tool can come close to the power of "The
Living Mind" (i.e. your own hand)

     3) My school's site is a little dumb... mmm... well... OK
it's
     very dumb. Is there any way of making it a little
more
     attractive? Pay a visit at npsnd.com

I would suggest that you stick to default colours,fonts etc.

     4) In Linux, I'm unable to find an FTP client with GUI. GFTP
is
     one but it is very... mmm... complicated. Can any one of
you
     suggest a GUI FTP client. I tried sourceforge & freshmeat,
but
     they have either console based ones or the complicated ones.

I would suggest nt - A download manager for X. On my RedHat
installation, it has been installed by default. Check if you already
have it by running `whereis nt'. See
<http://www.krasu.ru/soft/chuchelo/>

     5) I want my school's site to run perfectly even without
frames
     for the text mode browsers. Is there any tool to do that?

Be very sure to do this. See
<http://www.htmlhelp.com/tools/validator/>

Raj Shekhar

Give credit where credit is due. Linux is just the kernel. Without the efforts of
people involved with the GNU project the Linux kernel would not be very useful to most
people.See http://www.gnu.org/gnu/linux-and-gnu.html to know more
