Hi Santosh, Are you using GRUB? The problem is not related to the amount of RAM (probably not even to the size of the kernel - I might be wrong there). I faced the same problem some time back with a dual booting system having Win2k and RHL8.0. I could not locate any solution to it anywhere.
Alternate: Use NTLDR to boot Linux. I don't know whether WinXP uses the NTLDR and boot.ini or some other mechanism but if it does then you are in luck. Doofus and Abu have written a very helpful guide on the topic. http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg03715.html Best of luck. -- Manish -----Original Message----- From: santosh dubey [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, February 27, 2003 8:28 PM To: multiple recipients of Subject: [ilugd]: Can't boot in linux...not enough memory..i have 128 mb ram..pls help Dear sys admins, I am getting serious problem in my dual boot computer.
