BUt 6.2 does not have ext3 file system,

I dont expect any person in his office to touch that system, even if there
is unclean shutdown as in case of power failure.
If ext2 is there, then it may start checking all over and may stop
somewhere, and the persons will be calling up me.

and I sincerly dont want this situation
