i believe yu wish to make your system act as a web server instead of making a web server. download apache (http://httpd.apache.org). its the world's most popular web server. by default yu'll be able to run cgi/perl scripts. however if yu wish to use php, yu'll need to download php module frm php.net. both windows and linux versions are available, however the apache 1.3.x series are meant to be run on *nix machines for production purposes. you can either compile it or use the binary, but i'd recommend compiling it from scratch. the documentation is available on the apache site. vivek ================================================ To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe in subject header.
