Dear Linux Expert,
I want to insatll linux 7.2 dual boot with my win 2000 professional. I have made one primary partition & one logical partion & leaving one partition of 8 GB empty for linux. I want to install linux either by network or by Internet, But unable to do it. Ihave made a network boot floppy by ( dosutils/rawrite/bootnet.img method). But whenever I start booting from this It goes to nfs server option and requires the path for installation media . There comes three options 1) by nfs : when i choose this option it requires for insatllation media , I have copied that redhat cd into the /usr/local of my linux server So I gives the path /linux server name/usr/local/pub. But it shows invalid mount. 2) by ftp: When I choose this option and gives the path of red hat site pub directory( ftp.redhat.com/pub),.It shows the error /pub/RedHat/base/netstg1.img file not found on server while the file is already seen on the server.
