hi guys ( that includes the females too )
The reason for my posting the news was to inform the linux community (and the new converts) that what M$ as reported in Times of India Fri Jan 10 2003 "looks beyond PCs to watches" has already been accomplished by the community and that too in the year 2000.
It was not intended to start another flame war or discussion about crashing/rebooting/performance/personal OS used by an individual or company.
The individual has the freedom to choose what he wants to use.
(Personally I was hooked on to windows although i was getting screwed by M$ due to downtimes, frequent updates, hardware upgrades blah blah blah till I discovered Linux - and after that i decided not to get screwed any more.
Maybe ur right about Win2000 being stable but I dont care .I dont even know which one to go for we had NT 3.51 ,NT4.0,Win2000,WinXP - with professional edition and enterprise editions and each claiming to be "STABLE" not to mention the service packs which u had to download.
But i am digressing now coming back to the point I dont care and i dont want to get "screwed" anymore which is my personal decision and I am going to stick with it.)
Regards everybody
Virindera
