There was a Linux wristwatch announced by some
japaneese company. I don't remember, maybe casio! I don't know what happened to
that though.
About windows crashing and needing reboots. I would
like to say that modern windows. Windows 2000 or Windows XP with proper drivers
rarely requires reboots. I have run my Win2k machines for weeks at a time. I
reboot my windows very very rarely due to a crash nowadays. It is more because
of power failures or software updates. I find win2k to be extremely stable. If
you must find faults with an OS, it is ok, but at least use a recent version and
see for yourself how good windows has actually become. I used to use win98
inside vmware running on linux. Now I use Linux inside vmware running on win2k.
Go figure why I would do that.
BTW i still feel that win2k server is a joke. I
never run servers with a GUI, so most of my servers are linux.
