Hi, i have an intel 845GBV board with onboard graphics. Redhat refuses to recognise it and installed generic PCI as drivers. That did not work and error: No Screens found was shown.
I changed the drivers to 'vesa' but dtill the following problems exist : If i start X server and then logout, i am unable to restart the server. Even if i change the user, i cannot start the server. All i get is a blank screen and linux assumes that the server has been started. I have to reboot the system to get the server starting again. Is this a problem of vesa drivers?? Also, When i do Ctrl+Alt+F1 to do another login and then if i do Ctrl+Alt+F7 to come back to Xserver, i again get that blank screen. Any ideas?? IMPORTANT :I also didnot come to know of the meeting of December. I joined this month only, kindly tell me the details for the next months meeting.
