Hemant there r 'redhat-config-* ' files for configuring various things on RH8.0, try them, at the same time have the exact details of ur graphics chip.

3) when i logout from graphics then screen get blank and then i have to use CTRL-ALT-DELETE to reboot the terminal.if i understand u correctly , u want ur graphics screen 'back' while switching between graphics and command terminals..... if the graphics screen shows up covering only asmall part of the screen .... then in that case u can try 'Ctrl+Alt+ ["+" or "-", twice]' (numeric Key Pad keys only).
