I was trying to configure sendmail as a campaigning server in my
company.But i was unable to optimise its configuration.It works fine if
users sends 10-100 mails but mail clients stops responding if these mails
are in bulk,say 1000.And i tried changing each and every parameter in
sendmail.cf and tried adding various feature before compiling sendmail.mc
with m4.But was facing same problem.So ultimtely i migrated to Qmail.And
you can't beleive its very very fast.Ofcourse ull beleive if u are using
qmail....lol...
But just a single problem im still facing is that if any
user send a bulk mail say to 1000 users and when server is processing that
mail at that time if somebody fires a single mail to single user.That single
mail stucks in queue and doesn't get through untill that first mail gets
through.I tried finding various mailing list for solution of this problem
but fruitless.So now inlast im posting this mail to find any linux guru out
there who can solve this problem.I mean is there any way of mail switching
as per time slices so that server can handle all the mails by switching over
to them time to time.Or forks different process for each mail.
