Hi Deepak, Your problem statement sounds a bit incomplete. However i can suggest this.
Yes, there used to be some IP restriction. Modern Linux systems don't have such restrictions. You can try the following .. 1. Try pinging to the loopback address 127.0.0.1 => Installation fine 2. Try pinging to the local IP, 128.128.128.66. => N/w mod fine. 3. What does ifconfig show? 4. Try pinging to the neighbouring machines.
