Hey guys I have installed Redhat Linux 7.2 Server and we have an existing WINNT(WIN2000 SERVER) network in my organisation.I want to put this Linux server on to the existing NT network.While installing i had configured the following:
IP Address 128.128.128.66 Netmask 255.255.255.0 Hostname linser.globe.com winnt domain is globe.com and the ip address of winnt server is 128.128.128.1 After the installation was completed i tried to ping the winnt server but didnt get any response. I cant figure out what cud have gone wrong.Am i using wrong ip addresses. Please if some body could help me with this problem.
