Hi Rahul,

Just add an entry in your /etc/inittab for a serial terminal--

4:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty4
5:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty5
...
...
7:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty ttyS1 [or whatever port you're connecting
to]

You may need to tweak the flow control settings on either side with
stty...

You'll need to switch "console support on serial port" on in the char
devices options on the kernel (or make drivers/char/serial.o and insmod
it).
