I am regular BSc passed out candidate and working as a software engineer for last 10 years. Below is the eligibility criteria for enrolling into PhD program in Computer Science for IIT Chenni / Madras:

Preference will be given to Engineering those with M.Tech/M.S degree in Computer Science & Engineering. Please let me know preferably via distance education program, I can do, such that I can enroll into PhD in Computers program at IIT after a year or two. The site says Master's degree - does it means to do MSc or MCA - please guide appropriately.
