Hi, My take on this discussion.
ilugc is a Linux user group and supports all foss tools. In my opinion , writing on JavaScript is good, provided the code is free from all sorts of errors. If this kind of technical write up is placed on a blog, it will help the reader a lot comparing to be laying in scattered mails.
