Do you mean that (or rather think) Engineers who do not know some software
coding are not eligible to be called so?
If so, How come you live in a house?
how come you got a car or bike to travel?
How do you get electricity and computers to type all these stuff?

Then out of the engineering graduates some go to pursue IAS, some MBA,

India has hundreds of Engineering Colleges. Are not some 40000 Engineers
sufficient for making coding for a population of 130 crore?

*With due respects I ask you Sir, Can you clear Indian Engineering Services
Exam in your first attempt?
*
*(FYI, Indian Govt. hires Engineers for public sector through IES Stream).
*
*Atleast, Can you try to clear UPSC Exams for Engineering Sake?*

Engineering?
If so, Can you please explain me how you learnt Engineering (without
knowing what you were doing)?
