What I personally felt is that " Laptops could run on battery for quite couple of hours, thus once the charge is full, you can disconnect the plug and let it run in Battery, and for those couple of hours we don't need the direct supply of current, thus we shall avoid using electricity for laptops until the battery drains to minimum level. Doesn't that interval between charging and discharging would count for Electricity ? ".
