If you have doubts about anything then IMO it should not be pursued. >From the other things you mention in your OP, it appears to me that you want to pursue something that gives you maximum monetary return. A couple of years ago, I had an intern who wanted to be a Network Admin. Why? because the salary for this job function is good but she did not have the aptitude. Each of us have our own strengths, only you can find what interests you and do you have the aptitude for that interest. Once you have figured it out then pursue your interest with full gusto; the monetary compensation will follow. Sometimes this self discovery can take time and patience on your part.
