Hello friends,
While am installing eclipse with jdk on my ubuntu, i did some
mistakes during the installation(configuration) process. therefore i'll get
this following error and i can not able to proceed further.
E: Could not open lock file /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (2:
No such file or directory)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory
(/var/lib/dpkg/), are you root?
so now am expecting a reply that why this actually occurred and a good
solution(procedure) for the installation of *ECLIPSE with jdk and Tomcat
5.5.x* as well....
