IMO tracking productivity of your company staff by monitoring all their mouse/keyboard activities is a very bad idea. Productivity of your staff is directly proportional to his/her on time deliver-ability. Does your staff deliver the results on time ? If not, do they document/interact with the team on show-stopper issues ? Do they spend time learning concepts ? Are they documenting or presenting to the team what they learn on a day-to-day basis ? That should be the right precedent to a healthy organization. - Just my few cents.
