I experienced the same issue few months ago. Are you able to detect
the connection?

if you are able to detect the connection, edit the connection and
manually set the ip to 192.168.1.0/24 series and try to ping
192.162.1.1 (its the default) . If you are able to ping, then you
might get access to internet using wireless or you need to configure
your wireless router accordingly ( I think every wireless point has a
simple web UI, which can be used). There are various tutorials on
configuring your BSNL connection for wireless access.

For automatic assignment of Network settings, you must enable DHCP
server using the access point's web UI.
