I had used BSNL's broadband while at hyderabad I was "CONNECTED " always
24/7 most of the time until of course the official /unofficial power
cuts came into force. Once logged the IP NEVER Changed. if the IP
changes it can be a problem with (1) your router (2) the last mile
connectivity, check with the provider tech team also in the meanwhile
that could be the answer on 70% of the cases for ip change. I foud this
even when I used the USB broadband of RCOM, the ip never changed until I
reconnected after a restart etc.
