Yes, I am doing it free, only for the first time (a 60 seat FOSS lab
installed with 4500+ packages, requires only 6 hours for me to setup) and
further would insist the college/institution to buy our FOSS Lab server, if
they decide for a complete FOSS migration throughout the institution (few
institutions have already bought our FOSS lab server and currently we are
supporting more than 200+ institutions in Tamilnadu).

Now, I am thinking about extending this FOSS lab setup services to other
region/states, if ILUG-C or other LUG's in India could help/support this
initiative.

I am much more comfortable in doing this for my living (almost 8+ years) and
also happy about helping the education in the long run.

As this FOSS entrepreneur sees education as a big/strong market in India, I
am sure, we will always be alive and strong enough to keep supporting
education.

We are targeting about 1500+ institutions across Tamilnadu in implementing
FOSS in the next 5 years. (soon will post some interesting stats about the
use of FOSS in engg./technical institutions in Tamilnadu)
