Dear all, On behalf of ILUGC, myself conducted a one day awareness program on FOSS in Karpagam Institute of Technology, Coimbatore ( http://www.karpagameducation.com) on 20/08/10 for the third year CSE and IT students totalling 110+.
60 seat FOSS lab was setup in the college using Fedora-13. Also distributed few copies of Fedora-13, OpenSuSE-11.3, Ubuntu-10.04, Edubuntu-10.04, LinuxMint-9, Debian-5.0.5 DVDs to the students. I would like to thank the Principal Dr.T. Ramachandran, Mr. Mohanasundaram, HOD of CSE/IT for the support in organizing the program. Regards S.
