Almost any netbook that is available in Chennai today: 1. can run with Ubuntu Netbook Remix 2. has Windows pre-installed The counter-examples to (1) are the older Celeron-based models that should be avoided since these are battery hogs and are slower to boot than the Atom powered ones. If you find one that is a counter-example to (2) then I guess everyone on the list would like to hear about it! People keep saying that the Arm-based netbooks will be released "any time now" but I have yet to see one in the market or available in India online.
