Dear Diary,

Today I learned that you can write for loops in the DOS shell.

I also learned that AJAX polls aren't a good idea.

Like so:

for %i in (1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0) do (wget -q
"http://polls.polldaddy.com/vote-js.php?s=123&b=1&p=1893050&a=9549884,&o=&l=0&sl=1&pr=1&pt=0&va=0&cookie=0&rdm=2&url=http%3A//goinggnu.wordpress.com/2009/08/19/vote-a-site-for-indian-linux-user-group-chennai/&w=1893050";
 )

But then the poll was a stupid idea.

Love and regards,
Roshan

PS: I'm still bummed _why disappeared, and I'm not even a ruby fan. :(
