as a member of NRCFOSS , and presumably with some responsibility for our team, I apologise for the use of powerpoint in geetha's presentation.
attn.: prakash : i agree with your statement that she is new to our team, but the collective responsibility is ours. i don't think your long justification/argument is necessary. i am sorry that i am saying so in a public mailing list. we are working in an open source environment where the bugs could be pointed out, accepted that they exist, and weeded out. Let us take into our stride the periodic comments about tax payers' money and responsibility, etc. We have to take the correct path -- not because of we are "bonded" to FOSS as members of NRCFOSS, but because we are committed to FOSS as much as any other FOSS enthusiast. It is a matter of freedom and responsibility. Each of us may have our own views and methodologies about FOSS promotion, and use of proprietary software. The point here is, the occasion is fossconf -- our own event to show case FOSS. Can't we say what we want to say with FOSS tools alone?
